So you're in a hurry.
The Pollstar100 Web Content Manager has been designed to be intuitive to use. There are four Example Pollstar100 Applications that may also be freely downloaded from our website. These examples can be considered as template Applications and have been carefully devised so as to provide much of the information necessary for a designer to quickly start implementing their own custom Pollstar100 Applications. In addition, we have provided three short tutorials that can be found under this section.
Before You Start
Please note that, the following tutorials have been designed to work in conjunction with the some of the source files from the Pollstar100 Demonstration software. It is not, however, a pre-requisit that you download either the Help Documentation or the Demonstration software to make use of these tutorials. All the relevant reference material can be found here in Example One. Please also note that if you are an unlicensed user then you will only be able to carry out the first tutorial which demonstrates how to use the Custom XML file in order to create the look-and-feel of the end-user interface.
If you have installed the Demonstration software on your development platform and you would like to carry out (rather than just read through) the following tutorials then you might also want to view this help documentation locally from your development platform and not from our webserver. Again this is not a pre-requisit, but if you choose to do so, then you should ensure that you install the help documentation under the same target directory that was chosen for the Pollstar100 Demonstration software. This is because the tutorials contain relative links that will fail if the help documentation is not residing in the pollstar100/help directory.
If you have installed the help documentation locally on your development platform, it should then be possible to go online, click on the links below and load the HTML pages they refer to, into your client web-browser. These pages should be residing locally on your development platform under the pollstar100/ installation root directory. They will invoke the Pollstar100 Client - also residing locally in the pollstar100/ installation root directory -which in turn will attempt to connect to the Example Pollstar100 Service on the Minds Eye Website.

| ../pollstar100/example2/example2.html
| ../pollstar100/example3/example3.html

Once you have done this and verified that all is ok , you are then ready to move on to the tutorials. If, however, any of these pages failed to load then check the following and try again:
| · | This documentation is residing locally in the pollstar100/help directory.
| · | You are viewing this help documentation locally
| · | That the above webpages exist locally in the specified directories.
| · | That the Pollstar100 Client exists locally in the pollstar100
| · | You are online
| · | Your firewall
